I found a lovely new wool kit while I was at Quilt Market called "Birches". Stark and simple, stately birches stand against a steel gray sky with a bright red cardinal nestled into a crook in one of the trees. Finished size is 13”x 15” and the kit includes all woolfelt for applique, all fabrics for background, borders, back, binding, batting, embroidery floss, buttons, precise patterns and complete, illustrated instructions. Whew - now that is a very complete kit! Arriving next week.
