Be My Neighbor!

We are so excited to begin our next FREE block of the week program - Be My Neighbor!

Beginning today, we will provide a series of 16 FREE downloadable "blueprint" block patterns that will run through to until December.  A new block pattern will be emailed weekly.  The blueprints will be rendered in gray-scale to allow everyone to color their neighborhood using a wide variety of fabric and color choices.  These are very scrappy blocks!  Mix your favorite fabric and colors to create your colorful neighborhood.  There are 16 blocks in the quilt top.  The quilt top measures 68 inches by 84 1/2 inches.
This week, please find attached a fabric requirements list and a greyscale photo for you to start planning!  Click on the link below for the fun to begin:

Accepting donations!

Did you know that The Fabric Cupboard is a drop off site for Ryan's Case for Smiles? A hospital experience can be scary for a child and these gals make whimsical pillowcases that give children an emotional boost at The Moncton Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and The George Dumont Hospital. Information can be found at : http://caseforsmiles.org

The next pillowcase sewing day will be held on September 17th at the Lutz Mountain Meeting House. Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided.

If you have any fabric you would like to donate for this event, please drop it off at the shop and we will pass it along for you! If you would like to sew pillowcases at home and drop them off to us, please follow this link for nice, clear instructions for you to do some sewing at home:
