Our next quilt block is # 8: Variable Star. There are so many variations of the star block, it is difficult to remember which name is attributed to each block. The Variable Star is a beautiful star on point which has been used as a foundation blocks in many quilts for 200 years. As you construct this block, try to recall if you have included it in previous quilts you’ve constructed. And if you haven't, then consider constructing a quilt in the future that features the Variable Star!
